Mitch Rotter is an accomplished music supervisor and media executive whose career has focused on using music to define tone, emotion, and cultural impact. He music supervised and produced soundtracks for over 80 films, including the Academy Award–winning The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Magnolia, The Wedding Singer, and Elf, and has held senior roles across music, media, and technology at New Line Cinema, Universal Music Group, and TikTok. His teaching approach is creative-first and scene-driven, grounded in how music actually gets used—and remembered—on screen.
