BIO

Patricia M. Bombard, BVM, holds a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) degree in Spirituality and Spiritual Leadership from the Chicago Theological Seminary and a Master of Arts degree in Religious Studies from Mundelein College, Chicago.  Dr. Bombard is a member of the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Dubuque, Iowa, USA. 

She currently serves as the DePaul University director of Vincent on Leadership: The Hay Project, which focuses on research, education and training inspired by the leadership legacy of Saint Vincent de Paul. At DePaul, she also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Public Service, teaching MPS 520: Value Centered Leadership.

Dr. Bombard served as executive director of the Institute for Spiritual Leadership (ISL) in Chicago from 1994 2006.  Prior to coming to DePaul, she taught religion and ethics courses at St. Xavier and Loyola Universities in Chicago.  She also has worked in various capacities in the areas of business, politics, journalism and higher education administration.

In addition to her training and teaching roles at DePaul, Dr. Bombard also brings her background in spirituality, leadership and administration to facilitating team building and strategic planning with small and large groups. She offers workshops, retreats and days of reflection on emerging trends in spirituality, leadership, ecology, and feminism, exploring how these trends are reflected in current social movements such as The Earth Charter.

She serves on the advisory board and is an adjunct staff member at The Well Spirituality Center, a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph in LaGrange, Illinois​.​
