Rachel McIntyre
BIO
Rachel McIntyre joined DePaul Law in 2025 as an adjunct professor in the Business Law Clinic. She currently serves as senior vice present, senior counsel, global compliance at Edelman, advising the firm's global legal and compliance function, including Edelman, Zeno and related entities, on privacy, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, sanctions and trade controls, and regulatory audit readiness.
Prior to Edelman, she spent nearly two decades as senior vice president, business affairs and compliance at Trailer Park Group, where she built and led the company's global privacy and compliance program from the ground up. Prior to Trailer Park Group, she was associate corporate counsel at DraftFCB, advising on compliance, contractual and data protection matters for a global advertising organization. Prior to her in-house legal career, she served as an assistant state's attorney in the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, representing the People of Cook County in criminal trials and pre-trial motions and handling appellate advocacy before the Illinois Appellate Court, First District.
Rachel earned her JD from the University of Illinois and her BA in English, with a minor in Political Science, from the University of Oregon. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and holds the CIPP/US and CCEP certifications.
