Biography

Sanjay Deshmukh is professor of finance. He is also a CFA charter holder. He serves as the Chair of the Departme​​​nt and Director of the Master of Science in Finance (MSF) Program. He is a two-time recipient of DePaul’s Quality of Instruction Council Excellence in Teaching Award. He is also a recipient of the College's Gus Economos Distinguished Teaching Award and the Teacher Recognition Award. He teaches graduate-level courses in Corporate Finance, Investments, and Derivatives. His recent research has been published in Financial Management, Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Financial Intermediation, and the Journal of Financial Stability.​​
