BIO

Sarah has served as Assistant Director of Advising in the College of Science and Health Office of Advising and Student Services since spring of 2023. Previously, she worked as an academic advisor in the College of Computing and Digital Media. Prior to that she worked in DePaul's Office of Undergraduate Admission as an admissions counselor for incoming freshman students. She currently advises students majoring in biological sciences and neuroscience.

Sarah is a proud Double Demon, having graduated from DePaul University with her Bachelors of Arts degree in 2018 and Masters of Arts degree in 2022. Sarah is a member of the Illinois Academic Advising Association (ILACADA) and was named their 2024 Outstanding Advisor of the Year. She is also a member of the National Academic Advisor Association (NACADA) and served as the Networking Coordinator for their 2025 Region 5 Conference in Chicago.

Sarah has served in two Staff Professional roles for an Honors Explore Class and the First-Year Abroad program to Ecuador. Originally from Wildwood, Missouri, Sarah has called Chicago home since 2014 and can be found actively rooting against the Cubs at Wrigley Field in the summers.
