Sophie Lancaster

Sophie Lancaster is a Senior Experience Designer at Publicis Sapient, where she has spent nearly five years designing digital experiences for clients such as Verizon and its value brands, lululemon, ALDI, and The Children's Place. She holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame and a master's in Engineering Design Innovation from Northwestern University. Her teaching is grounded in mentorship, accessibility, and learning through practice, drawing on years of experience as a teaching assistant, tutor, and mentor to early-career designers. At DePaul, she teaches GD 215: Web Design for Commercial Projects, bringing the same iterative, cross-functional design process used in industry into the classroom.
