Susan Markunas

I am a social psychologist with an interest in the field of Human Sexuality and Interpersonal Relationships.  Specifically, I am interested in how differences in desire, identity, and arousal impact relationship dynamics.  I have been teaching in the Psychology department at DePaul since 2012 and regularly teach Human Sexuality, Theories of Personality, Interpersonal Relationships, and Research Methods.  I have a passion for teaching and getting students involved in their education.  With each class I teach, I strive to help students realize their potential as a critical thinker and academic.  I am also the chair of the Undergrad sense of community and belonging committee, which serves to foster connections and build a sense of community between undergrads and the psychology department. ​​​
