Research Interests

The geochemistry of meteorite impacts, with a focus on elemental carbon produced during or following giant impacts. Forms of carbon include soot, charcoal, and fullerenes from fires and nanodiamonds generated by high-energy impact events.

A collection of images showing Carbon Isotopes, Soot, Charcoal, Fullerenes, Microspherules, Impact Crater, Iridium, Shattercones, and Shocked Quartz.

Service and Professional Activities
