BIO

Zhaoyu Zhang’s research interests include stochastic analysis, statistical machine learning, financial mathematics, mean field games, and actuarial science. He received his Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, under the supervision of Professor Jean-Pierre Fouque. He earned a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining DePaul, he was a Hedrick Assistant Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles; an Assistant Professor (RTPC) in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Southern California; and a Research Fellow in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University.
