Four DePaul students were among this year’s winners of a prestigious scholarship from the CME Group Foundation. The scholarship, worth $20,000 and renewable for up to three years, also offers mentorship and internship opportunities through the CME Group, a global leader in financial services. Eighteen students total were awarded the scholarship, which is designed to help students from underrepresented backgrounds pursue careers in finance.
Driven by a desire to make the financial system more accessible to other first-generation Americans, Hatami began investing when he was just 13.
