Latinx Heritage Month, which runs Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, honors the culture and contributions of Latina/o/x individuals. To celebrate, DePaul has planned various educational and cultural programs in the coming days and weeks.

Join the campus community for an outdoor festival honoring Latinx Heritage Month and celebrating DePaul's Latinx student community. The program will feature a show, games, food, live entertainment and Blue Demon swag.

Hosted by the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity, the annual program highlights contemporary issues that have an impact on the Latinx community. This year's program will feature a panel of individuals who will speak to "Living Justice: Stories of Action from the Latinx Community." The panel will include Maria Pesqueira, president of the Healthy Communities Foundation; Edgar Ramirez, CEO of Chicago Commons; and Eduardo Chavez, director and writer of the documentary, "Hailing Cesar," and grandson of activist Cesar Chavez.
