A heartfelt thank you to Professor of Law Julie Lawton for stepping in with grace and dedication as interim dean of the DePaul Law in May 2024. Her steady leadership during the past year has strengthened the law school community and advanced its mission during a pivotal time. 

We’re equally excited to welcome Geoffrey Rapp, who officially begins as our permanent dean today. A respected scholar and educator, Dean Rapp brings years of leadership experience, including serving as associate dean for academic affairs at the University of Toledo College of Law. With expertise in tort and business law and a passion for innovation in legal education, he is well positioned to lead DePaul Law into its next chapter.
