The Winter 2026 edition highlights a season defined by creative momentum, student achievement, and new programmatic milestones across The Theatre School, featuring:
- A Focus on Intimacy Professionals for Theatre & Cinema Certification, a first‑of‑its‑kind in‑person program offering hands‑on training in intimacy direction and coordination.
- National and local recognitions, including Non‑Equity Jeff Award nominations for TTS faculty and alumni, and multiple Theatre School affiliates named to Newcity Stage’s “50 Influential Players” list.
- The 5th Annual MessFest, a fully student‑run comedy festival at the Annoyance Theatre, showcasing original sketch, improv, stand‑up, and drag performances.
- Student achievements, including USITT awardees, festival acceptances, professional apprenticeships, and notable performance and design credits across Chicago and beyond.
