Faculty
Roselyne Tchoua
Dr. Tchoua’s interests have always gravitated around making seemingly inaccessible technology or unmanageable amounts of data more reachable. She joined the DePaul Center for Data Science to continue working in the fascinating space between data science and other science fields–including medicine–extracting insight from data using machine learning and natural language processing techniques.
Jamshid Sourati
Dr. Sourati’s main research interests revolve around developing and deploying machine learning and AI techniques to model and analyze the flow of knowledge and discoveries in science and technology. Prior to joining DePaul, he worked in the Harvard Medical School’s Computer Radiology Lab and was a post-doctoral scholar at the University of Chicago, applying learning based tools to model the flow of collective knowledge in social processes.
Bamshad Mobasher
Dr. Mobasher is the director of the Center for Web Intelligence and the co-founder of the Center for Data Science at DePaul. His general research areas include artificial intelligence and machine learning. In particular, Dr. Mobasher is considered one of the leading authorities in Web mining, Web personalization, and recommender systems.
