Honors Program

Additional challenge within a vibrant intellectual community

If you are looking for additional challenge, the Honors Program provides an alternative general education curriculum to the Liberal Studies Program. Like Liberal Studies, the Honors Program provides a strong foundation in traditional liberal arts disciplines such as literature, history, and philosophy.

In addition, the Honors Program addresses today’s most pressing issues through exciting interdisciplinary seminars grounded in DePaul’s urban, Vincentian mission.

Through a combination of classes and co-curricular activities, students in the Honors Program establish a community that supports wide-ranging intellectual pursuits.

Freshman application deadlines for the 2022–2023 academic year are:

  • February 1, 2022 – Priority Deadline
  • March 20, 2022 – Final Deadline
  • June 1, 2022 – Final Deadline for Music and Theatre students

  • November 1, 2022 – Deadline for Winter 2023
  • June 1, 2023 – Priority Deadline for Fall 2023
