This tuition insurance protects the investment your family has made in your education in case you need to withdraw after the time frames detailed in DePaul's refund policy because of specific situations such as illness, injury or emergency.
 
This insurance coverage from GradGuard supplements DePaul's refund policy by reimbursing your tuition, housing and certain other payments if you withdraw for a covered reasons at any time during the term. With GradGuard Tuition Protection Plan you can be protected for less than 1% of the cost of your tuition. A college education is a major investment - which means it's worth protecting.  Our Tuition Protection Plan* offers high levels of coverage at a reasonable rate and can reimburse tuition payments, housing, and meals fees,* and other nonrefundable expenses if a student withdraws for reasons like:
  • Serious covered illness or injury
  • Covered mental health disorder
  • Covered death of tuition payer
