The DePaul Study Abroad website serves as a key resource for exploring study abroad opportunities.
DePaul-sponsored study abroad programs provide students with the opportunity to study off-campus through approved programs affiliated with the university. These programs are often the most accessible and cost-effective option for students receiving financial aid, as financial aid funds can be applied to these programs. However, students participating in external study abroad programs for transfer credit are not eligible to use DePaul grants, scholarships, or federal/state aid. These students are required to pay out-of-pocket directly to the external program. Upon returning, they may work with the Office of Financial Aid to reinstate their aid.
Scholarship and Grant Opportunities
DePaul scholarships and grants are generally applicable to any approved DePaul-sponsored study abroad program. Additional scholarship opportunities for study abroad can be found on the Study Abroad website.
