Disbursements
Aid is applied directly to your student account beginning 10 days before each term. Any remaining funds after DePaul charges have been applied, may be refunded to you. Check important dates for exact timing.

Pro Tip:
Double-check that parent or guardian information matches your FAFSA. You’ll also need the code or last four digits of their SSN to access certain forms. Doing this early helps avoid delays in receiving your aid.
All Your Aid Resources in One Place

Once your financial aid is awarded, use these links to understand the key requirements that help you maintain eligibility, remain compliant and ensure your awards continue each term.

Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
To maintain your aid, you must meet SAP standards, which include completing a certain percentage of credits and maintaining a minimum GPA each term.
Return Title IV Aid
Withdrawing from any classes before term-end requires a review of your federal aid eligibility if you’ve received Title IV funds.
Withdrawal From Classes
Withdrawing from classes may impact your financial aid and other areas of student life. Consider all potential implications before deciding to withdraw.
Aid Limits and Lifetime Eligibility
Some types of financial aid have annual or lifetime caps. Make sure you’re aware of these limits to avoid losing future funding opportunities.
Maintain Compliance
Read and follow all financial aid terms, including updating your FAFSA and meeting enrollment requirements each year.
Disbursements
Staying eligible includes maintaining the right course load. If you enroll in fewer than 15 credit hours, your aid may be reduced depending on your program.
