Spring Visit Day
We invite prospective high school juniors, transfer, and adult students to join us for our Spring Visit Day on Saturday, April 28, 2012. During this program, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the admission and financial aid processes, visit with current students and faculty from all of our undergraduate colleges, and explore the DePaul community via a campus tour.

A student-guided, hour-long walking tour of campus follows each admission information session. Throughout the academic year, we offer a number of visit days featuring representatives from the undergraduate colleges and schools, the Office of Admission and the Office of Financial Aid.

Information Sessions

Admission information sessions are available to prospective freshmen and their families. These presentations last an hour and provide important information about the admission process at DePaul. Call our office at 1-800-4-DePaul, extension 57500, or register online (choose "Undergraduate Admission: Information Session") to attend an upcoming admission information session.

These sessions are offered on the Lincoln Park campus, now located at 2400 N. Sheffield Avenue (the northwest corner of Fullerton and Sheffield Avenues) in the new Welcome Center.

DePaul offers a wide-range of housing options, all of which have unique characteristics and communities.

Lincoln Park Campus
A tour of one residence hall is included on the Lincoln Park campus tour when class is in session during the academic year, at the following days and times:

Loop Campus
A tour of the University Center (UC), at 525 S. State Street -- the corner of State Street and Congress Parkway -- is offered at the following day and time:

You do not need to sign up in advance for the tour, just arrive approximately five minutes prior to the tour start-time and inform the Security Desk in the UC Lobby that you are there for the DePaul housing tour. The tour shows all common areas of the UC and a four-person/four-bedroom apartment.

Group Visits and Tours
The Office of Undergraduate Admission offers group visit information sessions and tour opportunities twice a day, Monday - Friday, for prospective undergraduate students. These events cater mostly to high school, community college and/or access groups. Reservations are required and two weeks' advance notice is recommended. Using Skype and a webcam, prospective undergraduate students applying as freshman, transfer or adult students can speak directly with an admission counselor from home or school. Appointments are available most weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. (CST) for freshman students, and between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. for transfer and adult students. Contact the Office of Admission at (773) 325-7500 to set up an appointment.

Customized Visits
The Office of Admission can also coordinate a customized visit for you, which includes a campus tour, class observation, and overnight visit and more. Please contact us two weeks in advance at (800) 4-DePaul, extension 57500, or email us, to request a customized visit.

*Please note that class and faculty visits are only available for high school seniors that have submitted a DePaul University application, or for undergraduate students seeking transfer admission. Class and faculty visits are available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the regular academic school year and are not offered during DePaul 's mid-term and finals weeks.

Overnight Visits
An overnight visit is an excellent way to experience academic and student life at DePaul. Students can stay one night with a current student in a residence hall and attend a class the following day. The overnight visit option is limited to high school seniors who have submitted an application for undergraduate admission. Overnight visits are offered Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings during the regular academic school year and are not available during DePaul's mid-term and finals weeks. Please contact us two weeks in advance at (800) 4-DePaul, extension 57500, to request an overnight visit.

Accelerated Admission Days

The Transfer Admission Office offers Accelerated Transfer Admission Days at the Loop campus. At this event, you'll find out about your opportunities for success at DePaul. An admission counselor will review your application and give you an admission decision before you leave. You also can find out more about academic programs and student life. You'll need to bring official transcripts in a sealed envelope from all colleges or universities you have attended. If you have less than 30 semester (44 quarter) hours of transferable credit, you must also bring your high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores. Register online.
