If you have not received your Campus Connect user ID, please contact the Information Services Help Desk at (312) 362-8765 and indicate that you are a newly-admitted student to the university.

As a newly-admitted DePaul student, you'll use Campus Connect to help you complete the final steps to enroll at DePaul. You'll find your personal checklist needed to complete these steps by clicking through the following menu sequence: Self Service > Admission > Next Steps.

Reserve Your Spot at DePaul

Declare your intent to enroll by logging into Campus Connect, completing the "Admitted Student Response" section and paying the required $100 non-refundable tuition deposit by May 1, 2015 (freshman students) or June 15, 2015 (transfer students). Students admitted after the deposit deadlines, or admitted for terms other than fall, are encouraged to submit their deposits within two weeks of receiving their acceptance packet. If paying by check, make it out to 'DePaul University' and include your name and student ID.

Checks can be mailed to:
DePaul University
Office of Undergraduate Admission
1 E. Jackson Blvd.
Chicago, IL 60604

After May 1 (freshman students) or June 15 (transfer students), deposits will be accepted on a space-available basis. Your deposit will be credited to your student account and will be deducted from your bill after you register for classes. This deposit will apply only for the term to which you’ve been admitted.

Submit Campus Housing Agreement

If you're interested in living on campus during the academic year, submit your on-campus Housing Agreement with the required $200 prepayment as soon as possible. Each year, demand for on-campus housing exceeds available spaces. On-campus housing at DePaul is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis according to the date your Housing Agreement, prepayment, and parent/guardian voucher (if applicable) are received by the Department of Housing Services.

Visit Housing Services for more information.

Apply for Financial Aid

DePaul encourages families to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be considered for need-based financial aid. We strongly recommend you submit the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1, 2015 and no later than February 15, 2015 for maximum consideration for the fall term. Students entering terms other than fall should file as soon as possible. Use the school finder on the FAFSA website and select DePaul (#001671) as one of the schools to which you would like your FAFSA information sent. Students entering in quarters other than fall are encouraged to file the FAFSA as soon as possible.

Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) and College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

DePaul University recognizes the achievements of our students as represented by their completion of exams through the AP, IB and CLEP programs. Students may earn credit applicable to their general education requirements, major field or elective requirements.

All AP, IB and CLEP scores/transcripts should be mailed to:

DePaul University
Office of Undergraduate Admission
1 E. Jackson Blvd.
Chicago, IL 60604

You can also have them sent electronically by the testing agency.

Go to the Test Credit and Placement section of our website for detailed information on the placement process, email us at dpcl@depaul.edu or call (312) 362-8610.

Attend Orientation

You will be sent registration materials for DePaul's mandatory new student orientation program where you will meet your classmates, get acquainted with the campus and surrounding neighborhoods, meet with an academic advisor and register for classes. There are several new student orientation programs scheduled during the summer months for students enrolling in the fall, or before subsequent quarters during the year, so you may register for the one that is most convenient for you upon completion of your placement process. Visit New Student Orientation for more information.

Please note that new student orientation registration will be available through Campus Connect beginning Monday, April 1, 2015, for students admitted for the summer and fall quarters.

Review Transfer Student Credit Evaluation

As a transfer student you can review how your credit has been evaluated and applied to your degree program as well as review your degree progress report. Visit Transfer Credit Evaluation to learn more about the resources available for transfer students upon admission to the university.

Submit Final Transcript

As stated in your offer of admission, enrollment is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance through all terms of your educational career. Please send us your official, final transcript from the institution you most recently attended as soon as it becomes available. If you should fall below the academic standards on which your admission was based or exhibit a significant change in character, DePaul has the right to revoke your offer of admission, withdraw you from any courses for which you have registered and institute additional requirements for reapplication. Failure to submit your final transcript will prevent you from registering for classes in subsequent terms.

Provide Proof of Immunization

DePaul University complies with Illinois state law, which requires students to provide proof of immunization for Tetanus/Diphtheria, Measles, Mumps and Rubella. Find out more information about immunization requirements.

Visit Campus
