DePaul's Information Systems program will prepare you to use technology to address the operational, tactical and strategic challenges facing business, governmental and non-profit organizations.
As an Information Systems major, you will learn the fundamentals of:
- Business processes and procedures
- Hardware
- Information assurance
- Software
- Usability
The Information Systems program offers two concentrations: Analyst and Developer. The Analyst concentration will give you the skills and knowledge necessary to act as a liaison between information technology departments and other business units. The Developer concentration has a focus on programming and coding, and will prepare you to become a web developer.
We also offer a combined Bachelor's/Master's of Information Systems degree, which allows you to complete a bachelor's degree and a graduate degree in Information Systems in five years.
