The Performing Arts Management program is a comprehensive program designed to prepare students for careers in the multi-faceted and extensive performing arts industry. The program focuses on not-for-profit arts administration (orchestra, symphony, opera, dance, theatre) and commercial music management (recording industry, artist representation, music publishing and distribution, product merchandising, concert promotion).

The Performing Arts Management program curriculum includes courses from the College of Commerce, School of Music and The Theatre School. Along with private instruction on your instrument, you will take courses in:

  • Marketing
  • Music business
  • Statistics
In addition to your coursework, you will also complete an internship with an arts or music organization.

Upon completion of the Performing Arts Management program, you will earn a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in Performing Arts Management and a minor in Business Administration through the College of Commerce.
