Resources for Departing Students

Whether you're graduating, transferring or leaving school, here's everything you need to know about what happens to your aid as you prepare to depart DePaul.

  • Repay Loans — How much will your monthly payments be? When will they begin? Make sure you know the answers.
  • Loan Forgiveness — There are loan forgiveness programs for those in public service and teaching. Find out if you qualify.
  • Loan Exit Counseling — Some forms of aid require you to complete online loan exit counseling prior to leaving DePaul.
  • Return Title IV Aid — If you received Title IV funds, DePaul is required to review your eligibility to determine if any aid must be repaid to the federal government.
  • Appeal Suspension — If your financial aid has been suspended because you failed to meet minimum academic requirements, you can submit an appeal.
  • Withdrawal from Classes — Learn what can happen to your current or future aid if you need to withdraw.
